I feel the need to build a boat. no joke.

It rained ALL day today, which got me soaked whilst I walked to and from class.
However, that did not stop me from jumping into puddles like a 6 year old and making me question my maturity.

Then I realized that if a word like "Amniotic" can make me giggle, there is no question that my mind is perfectly fixated on having a child-like mentality for as long as possible.

As you can tell from the overuse of language, my brain is still in my "paper writing" mode.
bleh.

In other news: The Dear Abbeys Valentine show tomorrow at BU Central should be packed. I mean, what girl wouldn't want to see an all male acappella group???

Ra Ra Riot is amazing.
I probably say that a lot, but I really do mean it this time.

The Virgins, their opening band, were really good as well. They were the ones that found our chalkboard fascinating and proceeded to draw on it most of the time.

We've been really lucky that most of the bands we've booked have not been douchebags; because nothing ruins a night than a band of divas. Load in and load out went smooth and the freight elevator wasn't being an asshole either! It all worked in our favor.

At the end of the night, I got to give them their check. That made me feel very official. haha.

I should stop gushing now so you can go listen to them.

It feels weird having a religion that you made up mentioned in a USA Today article written by my old Religion Professor. (The Tupac one, in case you were wondering)
But I'm not complaining, it's surreal really.

Plans for senior year have started already. I'm hoping for apartment-style residence next semester. Maybe then I'll feel like an adult, as a opposed to a psuedo-adult.

This makes me miss home.

Graduation is fast approaching, in about a year, but I can't help but think about what I want to do.

My photography was published in BU Centrals Spring 2008 event calendar.
All are mine except for one of the bang camaro ones (the guy with the flippy hair) and the one of the hallway/walkway.
This calendar gets distributed all over campus.

is this what i should be doing? ah, i don't knowwwwww.

The first show I booked, Damone and the Crash Moderns, went well. We had a decent amount of people (compared to some of our other concerts, it was a lot of people) and only a few minor glitches here. I got some great pictures that you can check out at: flickr.com/headrushhhh
There might be another show on sunday, but at Bill's Bar. I haven't heard anything yet.

I officially have my license.

I go back to school on Wednesday, I leave tomorrow night.
I finally got good grades in my classes and I don't have to worry about not coming back.
Hopefully my last day will be spent in Santa Cruz with friends.

almost.
I spent last saturday with the matches.
Sure I was alone, but it was still amazing.

Shawn Harris is the only guy that I would marry in a heartbeat.

I spent most of christmas eve/christmas with my family making tamales.

I drove the Surburban for the first time and didn't run over anyone, so I consider that a success.

Oh, and christmas was spent at home but I went to Capitola village for a couple of hours with Lucy and Yesenia. Lucy leaves for mexico tomorrow for 3 weeks and I won't get to see her before I leave for school. very sad.

our family used to be so close, but it's broken and it's hurting. you can tell. everyone can tell that it's just a matter of time before someone says something to my aunt. I'm trying so hard to bite my tounge in hopes that it won't be me.

at least i have my Doctor Who series 2 dvd's coming :D

through our made up religion in which he is our Buddah and ALL music is our spirituality.
We won the "Make Your Own Religion" project for Religion class and now have A's on the presentation part.

Like every other carefully planned roadtrip...we missed our first bus, but we still were early.
Thanks to Joe for being awesome, fun, and for changing on the street, haha. Jon for all the inside info and for keeping us company and fed with fries, Bob for wanting to sell us, and Matt for being Matt. We made it home alive despite warnings that we should bring knifes =/

TPS shows always mean a good time.

Regina and I get there at 2:30pm and we see Keaton. She tells us that their van broke down, but that they got a new van, so they're behind..travel wise. Still, we were getting worried when the doors opened at 6:30pm and they still weren't there yet. Inside we were just as nervous, but our hopes instantly went up when we saw a van pull up..then ANOTHER van pull up.
They were there, and we could finally stop worrying.

Although Matt was having guitar trouble during the first couple of songs, it didn't matter.
They were still good and after 6 months of not seeing them play, I wanted to enoy it as much as I could. They played 3 of the 4 new songs. (I can't remember if they played Busy Signals or not..haha)

The best part of the night: they played Adalae for their last song. It was amazing and one of my favorite songs off of Teenage Graffiti.

After, when Jon was back by the merch table, he asked if I liked that they played Adalae; Obviously I did, and apparently that was the second time ever that they played it live. We hung out by the merch table with Jon and Joe for a bit, watched The Color Fred, then started to pack up the merch.
(fyi, Matt gives the best hugs ever.I think because I'm slightly short and he's tall, that he just naturally hugs my head).

We moved outside and just hung around for a bit with them and a few of the guys from You Me and Everyone We Know. The conversations we had were just so random and hilarious that I can't even remember half the things that were said, I just remember laughing a lot.

Besides waiting for 4 hours in the cold, just watching them play and seeing them made it all worthwhile.

6 of us were interviewed for some documentary at the Breaking Laces/Ludo show.
It was awkward, but I still managed to mention The Pink Spiders. Hopefully I'll be able to see it because I have NO idea what it was about.

The weeks are going by sooooooo slow.

Envy on the Coast was on Saturday and as always, they were amazing.
I overuse that word, but it's true.
I, of course, had to feel sick and was so hopped up on tylenol that I was all "blehhhhhhh"

Envy finished like at 8 something, so I ran over to BU Central.
The bands were ok, but you could tell something was afoot. i have no idea. I'm outta the loop =/
Japanther was ok though, I think I was just tired and so over my ears ringing.

Blah. The Crash Modern's booking agent is taking forever to get back to me. Lame. Booking agents are so pushy. But hopefully they'll play next semester.

ummm.
The Fold on Wednesday and some other bu central show thing. hopefully my new camera is here by then so I can play around with it.

Overall, my 2 friends who were supposed to come with me..didn't =[
In other words, I spent my birthday alone.
But meeting up with Cassie and Kayla made it better because Cassie and I got along so great.
It was like we've known each other for so long,haha.

Before going to warped, I had made plans to meet Ben Grey, from Scarlet Grey, there. I looked and looked. But at the end of the day, no Ben =[

Aside from bumping into the scene queens and making fun of them in their face, it was a great birthday. One of the best I've had I believe.

The only teenie moment I'll ever have I think. I've had a crush on him for so long..since his Big Wolf on Campus days.
One of these days I'll meet him, and it'll be great.

My friends and I have decided to start printing shirts with designs to make some money since we all hate our jobs. well they hate their jobs, i'm just unemployed and in debt thanks to college.

We have plans to distribute flyers with our awesome rad shirts at Warped Tour Los Angeles. Not to mention wearing them :)
this birthday is going to be so great.

was inspired by a certain band, which I think is obvious if you know me. haha. At least they love the design and are excited to get it. Hopefully people will want to buy one.

i hope i'm not getting ahead of myself, but i hope we accomplish this.

No One Goes Home are hands down some of the best guys you could meet.
Craig gave me the longest hugs in the history of hugs...we had an entire conversation while still hugging. It was great.
The shout-out they gave me during their set was awesome.

Good news is, they're going to play in Boston August 3. If they find a place to play, you know I'll be there.

hanging with Jon and Bob: priceless.

I admit, going to Bamboozle by myself was not only dangerous, but tiring as well. But I was determined, determined to see my boys after 8 long months of not seeing them. The messaging was great and stuff, but I wanted to see them again. To see them live, to talk to them, to just in general hang out with them.

It ended up working out and I'll never forget it.

Watching MC Hammer with Jon, Bob and Alicia

best video ever. Pretty much sums it up.

I can't wait to see them again.
